Meet Our Team








William Fikter, MD Joined the practice in 1996.  He earned his medical degree at Northeastern Ohio Medical University and did his residency in Adult Psychiatry at University Hospitals/Case Western Reserve University. He works with children, adolescents and adults treating a variety of conditions. He has extensive experience treating  ADHD, Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Developmental Disabilities and Addictions. Dr. Fikter has served as Medical Director at Signature Health, D & E Counseling, Ohio Mentor and Northeast Community Mental Health Center. He has exprience in-patient settings at Windsor, Lakewood, Geauga and Belmont Pines Hospitals. Jaime Bishop, MA, LSW, LPCC: Joined the practice in 1995. Has experience in school, college, community, private practice and on-line settings. Specialities include: adolescents, adults, and couples; Mood and Anxiety disorders, Relationships, LGBT issues, school related issues, and interpersonal growth. An eclectic therapist, Jaime's primary style is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT).  Jaime earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Cleveland State University, and her graduate degree in Counseling Psychology from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massaschusetts.  Jaime is the mother of an adult daughter, a California native, and enjoys hiking, travelling and anything to do with water. Michael Guyer, LPCC, NCC: Received his B.A. and M.A. in Psychology from Cleveland State University under the G.I. Bill, with additional doctoral coursework in School and Counseling Psychology at Kent State University. While going to school, he was a substitute teacher, wrestling and track coach. He then became adjunct faculty at Cuyahoga Community College West, John Carroll  University and Kent State for a total of 20 years. Teaching areas included; Development, Personality, Assessment, and Psychopathology. During this period he was at Reach Out Counseling Center as the assessment coordinator, consulted in a number of school systems, and wrote prevention grants. His clinical expertise includes Psychological Assessment and Testing, and Psychodynamic, Cognitive Therapy Techniques with adults, adolescents and families. Specialty areas include ADD(H), Learning Problems, Eating Disorders, Substance Use, Career Selection, College Adjustment and Veterans Issues along with the usual potpourri of anxiety and depression concerns. He also favors fitness and diet as a part of any improvement program.
